I have two piggies being fattened up for June. One is largely Tamworth and the other is saddleback cross Tamworth.
They are very sweet although we're struggling to keep them in dry straw now that everything here is wet and muddy.

I am always a bit worried that we are not feeding them enough. :pig:

I'm fattening 8 at present.  2 to go March hopefully.  Despite the cold they are growing well.  With only 3 weeks between the Gos/Saddlebacks and the pure GOS the crosses are racing ahead.

We put pallets down, put plastic sheeting on top and nailed sheets of ply to it. Reduces the amount of straw we have to put in. Keeps the whole pig arc warm and dry.

We once had a beautiful arc with a floor in it.  Then Hilary moved in...........  We were left with an arc with no floor, but she used the bits she had chewed up to barricade the door thus keeping the boar and the other female outside.
