Title: Weaners Outdoors
Post by: spursman on January 18, 2010, 12:02:31 pm
Would it be ok to put weaners outside at this time of year. The Ark is very well insulated floor included and the ground is not muddy. The weaners are 10 weeks old by the way.
Thanks

Absolutely fine ;they will love it ;and thrive ;if they are a breed suited to outdoors ie a traditional breed.

Yes, they'll be delighted to get outside, but don't expect the patch to stay mud-free for long at this time of year. As long as they have a dry shelter with lots of straw, they'll be fine.
