Title: Lambs tails still not fallen off!!
Post by: kate7590 on January 18, 2015, 09:22:29 am
We ringed our lambs tails and our ram lambs *cough* danglers on Sunday 4th when they were 5days old. 2 weeks later today and they're still on. Hubby's caught them this morning and said the boys bits look like there's a bit of gunk around one part of his bits, like it should come off very soon. They should be off by now surely?! What should we do?

It usually takes 3-5 weeks for the ringed parts to completely fall off.  Don't worry, they'll fall off in time.

I had the same worry with my first lambs but, don't worry, they take at least three weeks to fall off. Sometimes a lot longer. I'm sure everything is fine. :)
