Title: size advise
Post by: Higgins11 on January 14, 2010, 01:33:34 am
I've been breeding some hampshire sows and want to add size to my offspring. I'm considering crossing them to a GOS boar or a Duroc.

both have their advantages but i've never worked with GOS breed.

suggestions either way?

naturally I am going to say go with GOS

You will get a little more fat, loads of flavour, and GOS x are normally easy to handle.
