Hi All,
I have just started a small balcony garden for herbs, fruit and veg. Just trying to become more self-sufficent.

Welcome Nick - Start small think big - it is amazing what you can grow in the smallest of areas.
I've been getting enthusastic over a creeping kiwi - maybe it could work for you.

Thank you all for your kind welcome,
indeed it is hard to stop once you get going, I just went shopping for a load of strawberry plants yesterday, and I am now fast running out of space on my balcony...looks like I'll have to get an allotment now :)

don't think side ways think up and down too :)
think out side the box don't thinks to the book and try to be imagative, this way you help save money as well as space :)
