Hello everybody, I have not been on here for so long but as spring is on its way..............ha ha..... my thoughts turn once more to growing things etc. I say that under my breath because my 35' polytunnel is looking a bit worse for wear with a few splits etc. I have been using it for storing hay and straw recently and my chickens love having somewhere warm and dry to get off the snow. saying that sophie my dobermann caught a large rat in there yesterday amongst all the seed trays and flower pots so they are all scattered around the place now due to sophie's determination to chase it as it ran! urghhhhh as she caught it I screamed and ran out with her chasing me with it hanging from her mouth. She was clearly pleased with herself. I did decide to cut down on the animals we have (at one point pigs and chickens......45 chickens I got very involved in ex battery hen rehoming) as I was doing all the work plus looking after 4 children and 6 ponies, but that was back in october and the spring seemed a long way off.
I love the idea of the weigh ins, just what I need but feel I need to post my weight so I can shame myself into losing it. For me it would be all too easy to lie! Is that allowed , is that allowed, I noticed Rosemary posted hers.
Great reading up on everybodys posts, lots of catching up to do!
