Post by: imdead on January 08, 2010, 07:42:28 pm
Hi everyone, found this site in Google.

I had a look through and decided to join after seeing some good replies.

I don't class myself as a smallholder, but found some interesting topics here.

Hello from me in snowy Scotland  ;D
I'd love a Great Dane - great big soppy lumps ;) (but all the drool puts hubby off!)
Look forward to hearing more from you
Karen

Hi Fred

Good to hear from you. I LOVE Great Danes, they really are fabulous dogs. One of my best mates had one when she was growing up and I swear that dog was more human than many people I've come across! A total gentle giant (and totally indulged by her and the family, of course!)

Would love you to keep in touch - we're starting up and interested in hearing experiences from those who have already gone down that road. We hope to get our holding running to such an extent that we get an income from it, but anyone who has managed to become self sufficient in veg and eggs is already much further down the road than we are, so any advice you can give will be gratefully received!

Cheers - Dee
