Title: First time turkey rearing
Post by: brooksidefarmer on December 18, 2014, 08:40:07 am
Morning, I am new to this website and also to keeping any kind of animal apart from the two goats we inherited when we bought our house. This year I have reared 4 turkeys and tonight is the planned dispatch night. I have done my research throughout the process and had some help from an uncle with some experience however this morning I noticed one seemed to have coughed up a little flem (phlegm) with blood in it. Is it something I should be worried about? It seems fine although this is the turkey that is well and truly at the bottom of the pecking order! Thanks in advance.
