Title: Looking for grazing around Stonehaven, N.E Scotland
Post by: MrsMcG on December 15, 2014, 01:18:08 pm
Hi all  I am in desperate need of grazing for 4 possibly 5 horses as close to Stonehaven as possible. 1 is still a colt (18 months old) so cant be around mares, he will be getting gelded but unfortunately he's been very ill so can't be done till he is fit again. We are losing our grazing so will consider anything, although would prefer no livery yards. Just to make it more difficult I don't drive and also have a 1 year old to take with me. Thankyou muchly  ;D

Can I suggest you edit your subject heading and add location so anyone in that area is more likely to read this

I would try looking in any local agricultural stores to see if there are any adds up for grazing availability (although I don't think there are many near stonehaven).  Or a busy newsagents perhaps?

With your profile pic being a Clydesdale - are they all Clydesdales?

With a small child and not driving maybe a livery yard may be a better bet as someone can check them for you if you can't get there.

We are constantly looking in the vets and newsagents and have contacted all the local farms but so far nothing has come up. We have 1 clyde , 3 cobs and a fell  :)
I really don't like livery yards so would rather not use 1, I have people that will help me if I need it.
