I have always wanted bees but dont realy know much about keeping them how hard is it ?

I found it not too hard at all, I didn't join a local club like a lot say you need to but I do know a guy who's kept them for a very long time, in four years I've gone from 1 colony to 12 this is why I'm selling 1 or 2, it's a lot of work with this many hives as I've found out this year, but the rewards are amazing! I've got ample honey for home and managed to sell a few jars so this year I've broke even! It's not just about the money you may or may not make its just amazing to watch them doing their work!
I was lucky in stumbling across my first hive ( long story) but I won't look back, I'm 42 years d and as long as im able I will have bees for the rest of my life. Take the plunge but do read books and go along to your local beekeeping club and make your own mind up. If your local to me your very welcome to come and view mine.
