I am about to lease a fully fenced field (with access to a tack room) to run a small flock of sheep, and obviously need to get something in writing between myself & the land owner. I was hoping someone would be able to point me in the direction of a decent template for a written agreement/contract. The only one I have found to buy (and am probably looking at the wrong places!!) is a fair bit more expensive than I anticipated.
Also does anyone have any recommendations for reasonable third party insurance?
Many thanks

You could try the NFU website for information. You need to speak to your insurer and decide what you want insurance for - should probably include theft, sheep worrying and damage they could do if they escape.

Weve just insured our smallholding through Stuart benger. It was £200 for the year on the silver package which gives us plenty cover for theft, public liability etc.

Tim w sent me his template and I just tweaked it. Message him :)

Thankyou all. I will take a look at NFU & Stuart Benger.

Feeling a bit silly here, but how do I do that?

Look at the contacts page on my website and contact me ---I will then send you a copy (once I have found it)
