I can now agree with Roxy, in that bad luck comes in three's, in my case more.
This list is huge and unbeliable, but true.
1) Phone call last night, gran is in hospital
2) Mum and dad and sister, rushed down by car last night, call at lunch saying, car has been hit by a lorry, they are fine and still going down
3) Came up to write ,to find the cat happily eating two of 4 gerbils
4) English essay now due
5) Trains for tomorrow, running late, as snow is bad
6) Hen shed collapsed under snow, lost 3 birds, the rest in log shed
And have the added pressure of no phone line, and trying to get our neighbours to hold fort for a while when i leave tomorrow. ARRRRRRRRRRGH
Moan over
Cameron :(

This time of year, driving conditions are bad, people are half asleep for whatever reason, the cold and damp and being in enclosed spaces where germs breed adds up to illness.......things will and do get better...hang on in!!

Cameron, what a miserable list - I hope you're not hitting your head against a wall wishing for the return of 2009! How is Gran?
I think we have been pretty lucky so far in comparison to many TASsers. I had a honking cold over Christmas and felt like the wrath of God, we have a poorly hen and a snarling puppy, but other than that things are OK.
Hope things pick up for you.

She suffered a coronary heart attack and is still lying in intensive care, with a bit of luck i will get down safley tomorrow before anything too sinister happens.
On the brighter side, i have saved a gerbil, it had lost it's tail and is in shock but alive :)

Good luck with the drive!

i'm taking the train, as i'm too young to drive :D and the station is closer to the hospital with out taking a bus

Well done on saving the gerbil - BAD CAT!!!! Things should get better. Hope your Gran pulls through OK

Oh, Cameron .....2010 has not started well for you. I do hope nothing else happens, and also that your Gran comes through ok.

Cameron
You poor soul - at least the poor wee gerbil should be ok - hope your gran improves soon.......
