Hi All
My name is Kirsten.  I am lots over 21, come to that 2 out of 3 of my children are also over 21....now I feel old!

I live in Scotland and work with birds of prey as my day job.  I have 2 young Highland ponies and am about to get 2 pigs, 2 sheep, a dozen hens and a small bee hive.  We have kept pigs before (Tamworths) but are going for a more sedate breed this time (either Saddlebacks or GOS's).
Really looking forward to getting everything.
Kirsten

Welcome, Kirsten.  I'm just on the edge of Clackmannan - just dogs and a cat, chickens and ducks and a large garden. Hope you enjoy chatting to us.  If you feel you'd like to there's Central Scotland Smallholders Association you can join for £10 a year. - let me know if you do.

Kirsten; Picked up on your post after I replied to your falconer comment.

Yep its hard getting old - my son would have been 49 this year and my daughters are 47 and 38

Picking up on comment by Little Blue re need for bird of prey section.  Don't encourage us - We are notorious for telling lies about how big our birds are and exaggerate their abilities to handle quarry.

eg: I had a Musket (male sparrowhawk who was so full of fire he would have killed a cow if he thought he could pick it up (Muskets weigh from 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 oz.)
