i have had theworst Christmas ever. please beware when gutting a bird that you cover any cuts even very little ones . i caught celliultis from the turkeys its not nice please be ware.

Oh, how awful for you Paul.  I hope you are feeling better now.  I guess you'll use plastic gloves next year?

Shame - fingers crossed for a full and swift recovery.

If it's any consolation, it was worse for the turkeys  :)

I always keep a container of Dettol and water besides me when processing poultry and frequently immerse my hands in it. as I am sure Paul will agree better safe than sorry.
