Pecked comb maybe?  Cockerel been fervent with his attentions?  Happened to one of mine and she was rallying till it got extremely cold and she lay too close to the door with very little straw round her one night and perished.

Could one of them ragged a nail, or cut a foot?
It dosn't sound to sinister if it is only a few spots, but i would check them just the same

I found a trail of blood where the hens had been, today, in the snow.  I tried to look which one was losing blood, but with such a lot of hens, its not easy.  I assume its one who has caught a claw.

If none of them are looking poorly I shouldn't worry.
