hi
I have 4 kune's in a large yard/holding , I have removed paving/concrete and replaced it with wood chippings/bark to give them a nice substance to root in as there is no grass.
I wanted to give them something other than just pig nuts, I have made a mix of chop (with molasses) , rolled barley, mixed corn and some pig nuts ... they really seem to like it and i thought it would be healthier for them , however someone recently told me that molasses is very bad for them .
Is this true ?
many thanks

I've no personal experience of feeding them molasses but I cant see as to why it would cause them any issues. If it was their sole or predominant food stuff then they wouldn't exactly thrive, but from the sounds of it you are mainly using it as a binding agent (??) to hold the mix together. Should be fine.
