arr fly struck twice, cut it out and treated in field with torch in mouth, thank god again for hurdles. got in there quick.
I put the french version of click on. work well yesterday, But is there any one out there with experience of using tea tree oil, or geranium diluted to clean the wound and get them to jump off? or as preventative?

We use Jeyes Fluid, diluted 1:20, or Spot On. Clip from the outside of the affected patch inwards, depriving the little *****s of anywhere to wriggle to. If they've gone in deep give a/b jab,

yep did that, ab jab possible in this case, thou yesterday was treated the same and all's fine today. I did see a couple of (deep maggots this time even thou it was a smaller
patch.

I think this is tea tree oil based
Farm trials in UK just finished----but you have to apply it frequently

Crovect for treatment but as you can't get that look at battles maggot oil.
