Title: Bridgestone "Best in Ireland" Food Award
Post by: Snoopy on December 15, 2009, 02:08:28 pm
Hello everyone,
(http://www.tullywoodfarm.com/images/bridgestoneplaque2010label.jpg)
This is our busiest time of year so not had time to chat since meeting fellow TASsers in Glasgow!

Just want to share the great news that Tullywood Farm have won a Bridgestone Guide Award for
the Best food in Ireland 2009 and 2010, and we will be in their new Bridgestone Guide.

We were recommended by several Restaurants and customers that we supply, and The Oarsman in Carrick-on-Shannon are also in the Best Restaurants Guide after 14 food critics had dinner there recently and tasted Tullywood Farms Medley of Rare Breed Pork.

A very nice Christmas present for Joe and all the piggies on the farm, after a lot of hard work and dedication  :pig:

Thanks James - had lotsa congrats emails today and apparently the Bridgestone Award is Irelands
equivalent to the Mitchellin Awards in the U.K.  One friend of ours who used to own a Pate company
says its the best award you can get - they won it a few years ago.  We have been advised that we
can proudly display the logo plates for years 2008, 2009 and 2010.

A first for a Farm Shop and local butchers to be a winner too.
