We need a Lleyn tup for our twenty ewes for the end of October. Can anyone help? We are not registered with the LLeyn Society and our usual source cannot supply a ram this year. We will collect from a reasonable distance. We live five miles from Llandysul in West Wales.
Thank you,
Liz

If you are really stuck I have one pure Lleyn ram lamb left 41kg - he is not great but he is there if you want him. Until Monday when he should be appearing in Cardigan mart! Synod Inn area

Thank you for your kind offer. As he is a ram lamb, has he done the job before or would this be his first time? We need to know he is proven.
Thanks,
Liz

No as a ram lamb he is less than 12 months old so can't be proven! Cardigan it is, thought it worth a mention. Good luck

Christine Lewis - won at the Royal Welsh - lives near Llanidloes if that's not too far, she's got some advertised on preloved.

Thank you for this. We have looked at the site but we don't want to buy. We are looking to hire/borrow a Ram for a few weeks.

Does it have to be a Lleyn? We'll have a three year old proven Southdown available from the end of the month - NE Herefordshire. Will give a good carcase and hybrid vigour to Lleyns.

Thanks Marches Farmer, yes the ram does have to be a Lleyn.

Thank you Castle Farm. We will follow up on this facebook link. Can't see anything to do with a Lleyn tup for sale, but perhaps that's because I'm not familiar with facebook.
