Title: Albino Silkie???

Just looking at the pen of silkies I have been hatching over the last few weeks and one stands out from the rest. Where all the others have dark grey/black beaks, skin and legs this one is a peach colour.

All hatched from my own eggs/pure bred stock. Any suggestions why this one is different?

recessive genes showing maybe?
Any chance of another type of chicken being a dad?

You get an albino in any species. They are special and lovely. One of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen was at Heathrow airport about 20 years ago, an Indian family with identical albino twin boys about 5 years old. So lovely :love:
