Prunes?
Stick a load in brandy - always an option.

Cut in half and freeze.  Lovely during the winter in puds :yum: :yum:
Did your blackcurrant sage survive?  And hows the new property?

I had about 10Kg this year. Most were stewed and frozen.

Our little Victoria had fruit for the first time this year.  A surprisingly heavy crop and we ate every plum as we passed many times a day.  None left for jam or chutney, or freezing or stewing.  The golden gage is laden as most years, though not completely ripe yet, so I'll make all the plummy things from those  :hungry:

Cut in half and freeze.

Do you need to do anything with them first?

Talking about plums has anyone made plum & bramble jam, if so was it good.

I never have bigchicken because I feel they would each overpower the good aspects of the other and get the worst of both worlds - pips AND stones, and the pure taste of neither  ;D   But I'm quite prepared to give it a go if others say it's good.

Thanks pgkevet. That's one of the things I was gonna do!
Hiya Bramblecot. The  blackcurrant sage is magnificent!! I put it out 2 times in lovely sunny morning's, both times got back to gale force wind's!! Bless it. It's a fighter. ..
The new property  is grand.  Still getting used to being here, and getting ready to open to the public next year. Goats all kidded ok. 1 boy, went for stud. 3 girls, 2 from the rescue goat, so got 6 now!! And all got placed at shows this year. . Delighted!! Thanks for asking. Re plumbs, was gonna freeze some, but got 3 freezers going for the 18 pints of milk a day we're getting! Wasn't planning on having the 2 big milkers milking together!!
Hiya Olly. Haven't tried fruit leather.  Made it once, really good idea Thanks.
Got some alcohol,  gonna half nd add suger, then put in dark cupboard till Jan/Feb. Made Jam nd chutney × 2. Hardly made a dent nd now Damsons nearly ready!!!!
Bring on winter!
Thanks all.
