If we're being picky and honest his only flaw is his horns are a bit inward curving and may need trimming in future...
Other than that i got a new friend for the girls :excited: :excited: :excited:

Very nice, well done! I didn't make it, but some friends came to borrow my trailer as they were going for a billy goat (not clear if they were buying at the sale or just meeting up with someone at the mart) so looking forward to seeing what they got too.

Hot chocolate! You sexy thing Rocky :-* (from my girls :sheep: :sheep: )

Nice straight back and he stands well! So hopefully your girls will like him. The horns are actually quite difficult to get right, I have left nice tup lambs entire for the last three years and have yet to get the horns looking right... as long as you keep an eye on it and have a wee hack saw ready. It won't stop him in his duties...
Of course as we are on a-symmetric school week now there was no chance to come down today, as girls finished school at 1pm.... (and I did already buy some coloured girls anyway...)
Mowhaugh - billy goat in your trailer... it will need a power wash if my boy is anything to go by right now... ;D

Eww, hadn't thought of that! Will have to sniff it before they leave, I want to put ponies in it on Sunday.

Excellent choice Bloomer - Howburns were very well know for their Moorit's, good confirmation and fleece quality and he has fleece on his head for a bonus - I am sure your girls will be very pleased.

Just a I'm curious - who was the seller _ if you don't mind me asking :innocent:

He is very nice, I keep getting tempted with Shetlands after seeing all of these great Shetland pictures but so far Have behaved myself ::)
-
Well done Bloomer :hugsheep: It seems many folk went home happy today from the sale.
I didn't get there after all, sadly, but Mr F was there for the early part while a friend was also bidding for a coloured Shetland tup lamb. Mr F looked at the poultry but didn't see just what we wanted, so we are empty handed. Still, it seems to have been a good day, with lots of 'the usual crowd' there. Next stop Melton Mowbray.
