Dixie - Rodney is gorgeous
The caption for that top picture should be:-
Watcha mean there's no Banana's today !
He is just like our first GOS Boar, Oscar, who we still have, and he is our favourite, but he's getting old.
Love the long almost curly coat - just like our Oscar ;D ;D
Julie
P.S. love seeing GOS piglets - the best piglets by far   :pig:

Aaaaw! He's lovely and the piglets too. And glad to see all the mud.. makes me feel better about our pig-pen!

Great photo's. Rodney is a handsome chap ;D :pig:
-
A grand fellow, he looks a bit of a charecter.
-
. And glad to see all the mud.. makes me feel better about our pig-pen!
oh I wish it was still like that, but after all the rain I'm afraid its dreadful in there now!!
carl - yes he is quite a character! originally bought as a weaner for the freezer, but had such a nice nature we decided to keep him, he's great!
-
He looks lovely!
Im having the same problem with the mud and rain here fiona. Unfortunately we are on London clay so no drainage whatsoever! I let mine out in the morning and evening to feed in the barn so at least they food doesn't get lost in the mud.
Hoping to move them in the old goat pen the weekend but need to sort out the accomodation first.
Piglets look fab too

He is a real looker

When my newest quail were 'delivered' the lady that brought them had the grand tour, I called Murphy the boar and out he came, chuckling away. I said "isnt he he just lovely, the most handsome pig in all the world!" (and other such terms of endearment) and she looked at me like I was completely utterly barmy and ought to be sectioned!!
So its nice to hear some fellow pig lovers, complementing on good looking piggy chaps!
I bet if it'd been a chick or a kitten she'd have said "aah!"
