Title: help ill sheep

hi i put my 5 sheep out this morning from shed to paddock all seemed well, 2 hrs later all twitching as if irritated, seem hot to touch, they walk a little way , graze and twitch then go down on all fours panting rest a while then do the same, have called vet but could be ages before he gets here any suggestions hate seeing them like this, thanks.

how are they twitching?  just their heads or more all over body twitching?


I would get them all back in again as a starting point...

twitching all over and shaking heads, the farmer in next field has cut the tops of his potatoes tod ay wondering if that got anything to do with it have got them fenced in small area now, thanks.

thanks for input, they have been crovected for blow fly protection 6 weeks ago applied across back and rear, no fly strike but does look as if the might have headfly according to vet got to crovect again and this time including top and back of head, hubby doing this now thanks everyone.

Crovect needs to be reapplied every six weeks anyway, in our experience.
