as above-am near Lanark but would travel some, looking for 1/2 bantams and one LF golden silkie cockerel-none need to be exhibition standard but good breeding standard please.
Heading down to Suffolk beginning of September. TIA

A neighbouring farmer borrowed a broody to sit some LSB eggs maybe 10 days ago. Sods law he'll get no spare girls but if he does I'll let you know.

thanks :)

I'm sure I have some Gold Silkie cockerels - just need to wait a bit. Only hatched out last week so a while until they start crowing or laying!
-
don't suppose you'll be able to tell by end of August then :) are they LF?
-
Yes to large fowl, as for telling you might as well flip a coin ;D

yay-thats a bit closer :)
how old and why are you rehoming (would prefer not to have a killer silkie!). PM me if you'd like.

He's about 3 yrs old, just need to be strong and downgrade the amount of birds, got him to put to my silkie girls and Sussex, got plenty of broodies now so really don't need him, got him from perth area, very fertile as got plenty silkie x chicks roaming lol

well have a think-I'm in no great hurry and need to move on the growers and get some more housing sorted but would like to put him to some light sussex bantams (if/when I get them) and possibly some Scots Greys and Marsh Daisies to see how the offspring are as broodies. Also wanting to pick up some silky crosses when down south, so he would be busy :) Would even be up for having him on breeding loan next summer if you can't bear to part with him?
-
No problem just to loan him out whenever pm me contact details
