Title: Gutted
Post by: trish.farm on August 11, 2014, 06:21:23 pm
Got to have my Ram shot tomorrow.  He was poisoned with something about 8 weeks ago, nursed him through, blood tested showed dreadfully high urea and creatinine levels.  Has been slowly picking up, blood tested again last week.  This weekend he stopped eating, only eating a few digestives a day.  Results just back from labs, total kidney failure due to the poisoning, they cant understand how he is alive.  So upset as not only has he been the most fantastic tup for the last 2 seasons, with many more ahead of him, he is also the the gentlest, nicest ram i have ever had.  Totally gutted.   :(

This is something you have to do for him to thank him for being such a great sheep.  Horrible but you'll know you've done the right thing.

Horrible for you  :bouquet: - but the quickest and best end for him :hugsheep: .  I'm sorry your work was to no avail, sometimes there is just nothing you can do.
