Title: So annoyed with myself....
Post by: Greenerlife on July 28, 2014, 10:04:20 pm
Started knitting a jumper on circular needles.  180 stitches, five rounds in and I found that I have twisted it on the initial join!  SOOOOO annoying - had to start over...grrrr.

I feel better now I have shared.   ;D

Oh nooooo. Could you not have altered it into an infinity scarf or would that have left you short of wool for the jumper?

I once did that too, with one of my first circular jumpers.  At least you only had to rip 5 rows down.  It's very easy to do, because even if you get the initial joining up right, you have to check it doesn't twist round for several more rows, while the join is still a bit delicate.
I hope the rebuild goes ok  :knit:
