Hi my neighbour is looking for a pedigree gotland ram/ram lamb - although we are in Aberdeenshire I'll be coming down to Lanark for the show so if anyone has anything possible could you please let me know. Thank you Clare

The lady from tweedsidejacobs.co.uk may have some for sale, not sure if hers are registered. I think she was on TAS, or you can check her website. They are in St Boswells.

I bought some (non-registered) females from Nicki at edengotlands.co.uk  a few years ago and they are lovely sheep. She's in Cumbria, near Penrith.

Shame about their feet though, and their fleece this summer was completely felted on the ewes  :( The Shetland crosses are really nice!

We sold our gotland shearling ram to fifesmallholder on here,if u are stuck contact her she might loan him. Also if u were considering a x breed as wanting that breed for their fleeces,i have a gotland x blackwelsh mountain /mule and also 2 x Icelandic crosses.

I have a Gotland ram lamb, but too far away unfortunately.

Sadly your right but if any one was traveling north .......... would be a safe bet for not being related

Good idea!!  But been in this position numerous times, and never anyone going in the right direction at the right time.  My ram lamb is Pedwardine bred - his parents are from South Lincolnshire.

Roxy - he does sound like a possibility - I now know Helen (my neighbour) is getting a ewe lamb from tweedsidejacobs.co.uk so she must have been in contact with them. Think I will post to see if anyone is travelling up from the south just in case.
