Title: Large Black Sow for sale - Ayrshire
Post by: Whistlin on July 21, 2014, 05:17:36 pm
I have two pigs for sale:

(a) A pedigree Large Black sow, from the rare Diana line. Born June 2012 she has had one litter earlier this year with 8 piglets born and survived. She farrowed easily with no problems and proved an excellent mother. A low maintenance pig, if such a thing exists! She has a great temperament and is excellent breeding stock; and

(b) A Large Black / GOS cross sow. One year old and has farrowed once, with 6 piglets born and 6 survived. A companion pig to the pedigree sow, but probably not ideal breeding stock.

We are based in Dunlop in Ayrshire. If you are interested I am happy to PM more information to you.

I bred the Large Black folks and though I'm obviously completely biased, she is a great pig
Diana out of a Majestic Eagle boar.

If a good home isn't found for her I'll have to bring her back here (such is my desire to keep the bloodline going) and my OH may well divorce me for doing so  :innocent:
Buy a pig and save a marriage  :eyelashes:
