Title: Holiday in Wales
Post by: Lesley Silvester on July 19, 2014, 10:25:26 pm
Just back from a lovely week in Blinker's cottage in South Wales. Glynelwyn is a lovely smallholding and the cottage is so cosy and comfortable. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I went outside and they were all in their shed so I said, "Hello, girls." The two adults rushed out to see me. Warmed my heart, that did. The babies looked a bit wary as if they had forgotten me. They are only little still - just over two months old.

It was good to have the dogs back as well.

Thanks again for all you did to make us welcome. It really is a lovely cottage and a lovely place to stay. Great goats' milk and eggs as well. Not to mention fleeces.  :spin:

:wave:Pleased you had a good holiday - the weather must have been an added bonus (hopefully :sunshine: :fc:); looks lovely on the website, we all benefit from a relaxing change and a chance to recharge 'our batteries' - and good to be home as well

Linda, I'm sure we will.  ;D

I now need to recover from all the driving I did. I had to do more today as we were meeting our elder daughter and family before our grandson heads off to Nepal for an internship in a hospital there. Only an hour each way but I could really have done without it. Never mind. I can catch up on some sleep tomorrow.

Will do. He hurt his ankle while doing his 5Km sponsored run so was in quite a bit of pain yesterday. It's swollen and bruised so I hope it's ok for Saturday when he flies out there.
