 you would think  the  above link is an April 1st joke , it isn't, it is fact !!  This is happening now in the USA and looks set for something very similar to happen in the EU ( remember that now the Lisbon treaty is ratified the UK no longers exists Officially under EU legislation !!).

Remember all the forms you have filled in from DEFRA , answering all the questions about how much land you own ! how much you rent ! what you grow on it ! how much you grow ! Remember ..just collecting data...!! ?
Oh and don't forget that ALL land is set to be rated sometime too....the rate dependant on what you grow on your land !!

So just to help you...

Make sure you mention that you only have:-

Docks
Rushes
Bogland
Ferns
Bracken
Brambles
Horsetail
Dandelions
Gorse

I did something similar... I filled in the forms with Mind your own F***ING business....each time I sent the form back , I got another saying I had filled the previous one in incorrectly . They gave up in the end....either that or they are preparing the court case.... :o ;D

Funny that, we never filled in any forms from Defra - we did get envelopes I vaguely remember, but I think they may still be in pigeon hole 101

i dont even think they know the we have the land. it was a private sell from the farm, as far as they are concerned it is probably still permanant grass  ;D
