Title: high creatinine and urea levels
Post by: trish.farm on July 11, 2014, 11:49:51 pm
Had my blood test results back for my ram.

Very high urea levels and very very high creatinine levels.  Lab guys couldnt believe the ram was still alive.  This can only have been caused by poisoning by either a plant in the field or something that was fed to him.  Vet can only so far come up with acorn poisoning which we both agreed was not possibly as no oak trees in the field and its July!

He is being blood tested again in 4 weeks to see how is kidney function is.

Anyone had anything similar?
