He was bloated last week and down on his side. He's SLIGHTLY bloated now and I gave him a bi carb/oil/water mix last night BUT he is grinding his teeth, so in discomfort. He is eating well and has lovely normal poo's.
He's not happy in himself but, other than deal with his gurgly tummy I don't know what to do?
I also gave him some betamox

If a male sheep, particularly if castrated, it may be urinary stones.
Is he passing urine freely?
If not, emergency trip to the vet, as if blocked, the bladder can rupture and electrolyte imbalances can kill.
If passing urine, some pain relief eg. metacam along with the treatments you have been giving might be worth a go.
Good luck with the wee fella!

Could be water belly/ urinary calculi, we had this once when ram was fed wrong food, I gave him diluted lemon juice several times a day over a few days a little at a time and also a smidgen in his drinking water, Acv would act the same, he came right and was back to himself very soon xx
Is he on concentrates??
