Hi folks,
I am reseeding a large section of my field after ploughing, cultivating, etc. It will be a basic grazing paddock for horses. What i need to know is how much seed to order per acre as there seems to be vastly differing suggestions online.
Anyone got a rough rule of thumb for a decent outcome?
Cheers

depending where you buy it and in what quantites most ag merchants will sell acre packs. rough guide is in the region of 13kg an acre assuming a total reseed rather than stitching into an existing ley

Cheers mate. That sounds more like a sensible amount compared to some sites which seemed to indicate almost 10 times that amount!
