Title: Lice
Post by: mattjen on July 02, 2014, 12:10:22 am
Hi all
Dotty my GOS sow is due to farrow next week, while giving her anti natal cuddles earlier I have noticed she has lice,
So I have injected all my other pig. But am worried about jabbing her as don't want her stressing, somebody I was talking to earlier suggested pouring veg oil on her???
Would this help as she's not in the best of moods as it is let alone having to suffer with  these buggers aswell,,,
Please give me your views or help,,
Many thanksmatt and Jenn xx :pig: :fc:

There's no problem worming while pregnant, we do it as standard when they come in to the shed to farrow. Shouldn't be stressful for her and it's better to treat than leave it IMHO  ;)
