Today we went and picked up a pair of Shetland Geese!!!!!!!!!!!! As some of you might remember it has taken patience and forbearance to get this far. The lady who sold them too me was very very cautious. But they're here now and looking beautiful. For some reason she sold us birds which she thinks might be 3 years old? Anyway I am really hoping that they'll settle in and we'll here the patter of tiny webbed feet in the spring. Thinking about naming them after a famous pair of lovers, So far the list includes Anthony and Cleopatra, Romeo and Juliet, Homer and Marge (Simpson) any other ideas?

Good suggestion,
We already have a cockeral called chairman Mao and another called boris (Johnston) - he's a bit big and stupid.
Funny though, I still feel so angry with thatcher that I'm not sure I could use her name. Maybe for a gosling and then I could eat her for Christmas next year.
