Does anyone on here know if there is anyone selling goats milk in Noth notts/Lincolnshire. I am wanting to use it for y daughter again but i don't want to buy it from the supermarket as it is very hit and miss for the quality. The last time i bought it from there it tasted disgusting, the first bad one i have had but it has put me off buying it there again and i would prefer to go to some one who keeps goats so i know whwere it has come from and they get the money not a big shop.

Unfortunately it's illegal to sell it for human consumption without lots of certificates.
Do you need it for orphan lambs ;)
Is there a local goat club in your area, perhaps ask at agri feed stores or the vets.

There are suppliers selling unpasteurised, non-homogenised full-fat goatsmilk (as it comes from the goat) by mail-order. It is sent frozen - just google it.
Very few people are able to make it through the regulations jungle, but if you get your own goats - you'll never have the problem again!

Thanks for the replies. I will have to have a look on google for it. I am hoping to get some goats when i get moved. I can't have any here as i don't have enough space :( .

Hi the local goat club is the Notts goat club (Kirkby in ashfield) I don't know of anyone selling for human consumption though but they might, you could also try Lincolnshire smallholders and self sufficiency club, I don't know but they may have someone.
Alternatively there is the goat show at Newark showground on 28 & 29 June there could be someone there who is registered to sell it or know of where you could get it from locally.
Hope it helps
