In keeping with this forum's focus on current affairs, what's your favourite biscuit?
-
Shortbread obviously!
-
Penguins, although saying that I haven't had one for years.
-
Ooooo, that's a toughie ???
So many biscuits, so little time ;)
If I was pushed I'd have to say gold bars, but I wouldn't say no to a rocky :yum:
-
McVities Dark Chocolate Digestives.
I bet no-one says oatcakes.
-
I was definitely going to write Digestive until I saw HH's answer - now I'm torn between Digestives and Gold Bars!! ;D
-
for dunking, or just eating? Or a chocolate bar type?
Hmmmm....
-
Can't decide between Tunnocks caramel wafer/caramel log/teacake! Is a Tunnocks teacake a biscuit or a cake?
JD
-
Tricky question!
-
oh dear, this is hard to decide. I like chocolate hobnobs, mint viscount, mcVities limited edition ones, with orange in, covered in chocolate .....gold bars, mcvities shortcake covered in chocolate. Ooh, and turnocks wafer bars are lovely, and their marshmallow thingys!!
I think if I could only have one, it would probably be Gold bars though!!
-
mmmmmm depends on mood and context for me............
Sunday morning tea in bed sun shining through window, hens out must be a digestive
Wednesday lunchtime - crabbit about being at work, need a treat has to be a tunnocks caramel wafer
rainy Sunday afternoon, everybody else has gone out (in my dreams) and I'm settling on the sofa to watch a really cheesy movie - it s a whole packet of garabaldi biscuits............ Just don't tell anyone!
-
Tunnocks marshmellows!! are they classed as bickies then? I have to buy 6 in a pack as otherwise I would eat 12 :pig: :pig: I also love rice tea dipped in a milky coffee!!!!
-
Jacobs Cream Cracker ... it's such a versatile biscuit. Great dry or with a little butter or jam. Works well with almost any cheese. Great to break and use with soup.
Did I mention you can build houses out of them?
-
Now I love jacobs too but all that butter and cheese and of course a bit of Branstone pickle!!!
-
...all that butter and cheese is very slimming.
Did you know it's National Make Up Facts Day?
(note: I may have just made that up)
-
Thanks for that!!!!! I love cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!
-
What about GINGER NUTS!!! yummy dunked in tea or coffee SUCH a versatile biccy ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Digestive biscuits - (rare treat hard to find her) the pig and I have just finished a whole packet between us. (The 4 legged pig not the OH).
-
chocolate hobnobs :) :)
I'm not sure what a gold bar is....Tell me more please.
-
Are we dunking these biscuits. If we are then it has to be gingernuts. If not, chocholate hobnobs. Making me hungry. Ros :cat: :chook:
-
Hmm depends on the situation ;D for dunking it has be rich tea although I used to like lincoln but cant get them anymore! For a general biscuit then it has to be the digestive and for choccie bics it has to be penguins! Easier to ask whats not my favourite, thats easy Ginger Nuts! YUKK!!
-
chocolate hobnobs :) :)

Oh, you have to try them Julie ;D
It's a digestive base covered with white chocolate that has rice crispies in it - yum, yum :yum:
-
Classic bar :yum:
-

Must look out for those when I'm shopping. :)
-

-
Being an Aussie, I have a recipe for Anzac biscuits. They are an oatie biscuit made with golden syrup. They turn out flat and gooie. But if you change it to maple syrup - they are flat and crispie. I thought it was amazing. Going to try with honey next time and see what turns out.
-
they sound good av you got a resipe?
-
Mmm Tunnock's teacakes.
-
Yuk - I have some here you can have, Rosemary. Someone brought them in.
-
