I don't think there are any on the island, but the butcher in bodedern will do a couple altough he is very fussy about what he dose, he wont do mine as they have to much fur (Mangaliza's) also wont do black pigs or large pigs. I was given a phone number to a place in Ruthin, was told it is a family rum place and is very good if you can travel, I'll see if i can find it for you, i also need it as have two to go soon myself.

Our butcher slaughters black pigs but wont finish the heads, offered me white heads so I took a couple because I'd promised them to someone. He charges £34 and does a fantastic job.

Nothing on the north of Anglesey.

If it is pigs you want done you will either need to go to Evans in Corwen (we take ours here very clean and tidy), or there is a little place in Denbigh that will do pigs.

The abattoir in Rhos is fantastic, D & J Thomas. They are incredibly helpful and run a small but very efficient operation. Their phone number is 01978 840376. Ask to speak to James.
