Just had the BBC Landward crew here filming me being towed around by Bonnie, for part of their coverage of the Royal Highland Show. Bonnie is on the RBST stand (and hopefully will behave better ::) )
Absolutely delighted to get some positive coverage of Shetland cattle.
I think it's on the 20th June programme :excited:

Oooo, I didn't realise you were a celebrity :notworthy:

She's an old hand now! She's been interviewed about and at the Festival a few times now ;)
-
Will that be on BBC in the south? :fc:
Or is it just for Scotland? :(
-
If you have Freeview or access to iplayer you should be able to see it either at time of broadcast on BBC2 Scotland or catch up.

I'm just a supporting act, Bionic - the cattle are the stars. It's been a lovely day, so you see them at their best.
Rather embarassingly, Bonnie was a total pain and towed me about on the halter ::)
Landward DID cover the first Festival in 2012 and I did a wee piece with Ewan on poultry at Thainstone a while back. It's like everything else, once your contact details are in the system...
The researcher actually contacted me looking for Ryeland sheep folk, as they want to do the same there - a prefilm then coverage of the judging on Thursday. I was able to give them some names and hopefully, they'll have a Scottish Ryeland breeder in their sights by now. I did point out that my sheep couldn't go to the Highland because they are coloured :( .

That's reasonable of Bonnie, Rosemary. How much is it if I have yours as well?

I thought I might get Bonnie to swish her shitty tail on paper and then sell it as art. Any takers?

As long it's sealed and framed, so my living room doesn't actually smell of cow s***!

Our Rosemary at 12 minutes in.
The cattle looked wonderful, Rosemary, a real credit to you and to the breed. I'd go out and buy some having seen that!

Don't forget Landward's on again tonight! Might see another few shots of Bonnie.

Thanks SITN, that was a lovely 30 minute break from the chores (dagging and crovect ::) )
