My brother in law says he hates gardening but he likes seeing the colour all year round in their new garden :roflanim:
He doesn't know what this is (nor do I) - any ideas?
-
It might be some type of white hydrangea?
-
i was thinking hydrangea sargentinia sp? which i love but im not sure...
-
or possibly Hydrangea Paniculata?????
-
It's not the right kind of leaf.
-
It doesn't have any purple bits either.

I've got climbing hydrangeas that are looking stunning this year - and just like that! No idea of the latin name though. Mind you, you're right - the leaves look off, they look more like clematis leaves.

Looks like a viburnum to me, there are a few with leaves like that, though I wouldn't like to swear as to which one...

That's the word - viburnum  I've been trying to get that since I first saw the pic ::). The only photo I can find of is V. plicatum 'pink beauty' which is a 'deciduous bushy shrub, dark green leaves become reddish-purple in autumn. Late spring and early summer bears white, later pink, blooms, followed by red then black fruits'. Flower form is identical to your pics Doganjo.

Thanks everyone, I've told Helen what it is.
