Title: instead of the smallholders festival today

Me plus 4 baby Bloomer/Garratts, + a hosepipe, + a few dogs, + hot weather + a picnic = fun fun fun (and a full tumble drier lol) Oh I nearly forgot painting the Wendy house and Ollie on the ride on mower, not to mention searching for duck and hens eggs in amongst the bushes

sounds like you had fun..talking of duck eggs..i have discovered whats happening to my duck eggs…..
i was awake at 4.30 am this morning, listening to the dawn chorus..all of a sudden, the ducks came out and a seagull flew into their house and came out with the egg……….
