They were in my book of horses when I was a kid and I always wanted one of these, an Exmoor and an Alter Real (I have the Exmoors and a lusitano-so nearly!). They've always been known for that metallic sheen but that almost lizard like appearance is a bit much for me. they aren't all like that (I expect akhal teke halter showing is as nonsensical as arabian in hand showing )

Trying to give the impression that everything or everyone featured in a photo is without blemishes etc. Really is just so unreal and gives such an unrealistic impression to young people in particular who get taken in by the "perfect" cover girl/boy thus making them think they are totally inadequate themselves. Really wish they would bring back the "what you see is what you get" images!
