Got a triplet lamb, must be 7-8 weeks and has always drunk like a dream and wouldn't come off the teat till it was gone! They went onto once a day milk but her and another dropped a little condition so they are on twice again. When she drink she Is as keen as ever but she comes off and coughs. Sounds like the milk is going down the wrong hole. I'm going to change the teats and dormer her for lungworms anything else I should do?

Personally I'd be getting her onto cake and weaning her off the milk now. 8 weeks is plenty on the bottle. If she does have lungworm, that could account for the loss of condition. ;)

Sounds as if some is 'going down the wrong way' as you and I would say, coughing is natures way of bringing it out again. I'd get her off the bottle now, reduce the amount so she has to eat more grass.

They are eating creep very well, Is it 500g per head per day? I will worm her this afternoon and leave them on milk until the weekend and then wean them (she will be 8 weeks this sunday)

I have one that aspirated on little flutter valve bottle. He has big boy nettex bottle now and I hold bottle flat to let him latch on without any trickling down his throat unaided, then he drinks for a few seconds and I pull bottle out, he runs two circles around me and we carry on like that til bottle is done. It just gives him time to breathe and dont think hes had owt Going down the Wrong hole since being fed like this xx
It's interesting to sit by the waterers in the fields and see what the lambs are doing, I find ours drink quite a lot of water x
