June 14th and 15th Pembrey Park Llanelli.
OH will be in the bee experience tent which is fascinating if you want to get up close to bees. They 'dress' you in a proper suit, gloves and wellies so that you are safe and then you go in with the bees while someone explains what is going on with them.
-
It looks interesting but a bit far for me to travel for a day.
-
We were thinking about going, is it a good one.
-
We have never been before but as OH is helping out at the bee experience he gets his entry fee free so its a good opportunity for us.
-
Thinking about it, but won't know if we can till nearer the time... We've heard mixed things about what it's like since it moved venue - have you been before Sally?
-
I went when it used to be at Gelli Aur. Not a bad day out. Much more laid back than the big UK one.
If the weather is ok (parking used to be an issue at Gelli Aur if the fields were very wet as they were the year I went) I'll probably go along.

I don't see how the cannot. They have several dog shows going on and a scurry competition (I don't know what that is) that allows any dog.
I will probably be taking my dog.

A scurry is a timed competition. The dogs retrieve dummy/ dummies and are timed. A speed competition. Number of dummies etc. can vary. You can usually enter on the day. Spaniels are often very good at it.

My poodle will be useless so don't think I will be entering him :) I sometimes take him dog racing and he doesn't understand that he needs to head for the finishing line with the other dogs.

They do allow dogs. There is a big terrier and lurcher show there, gun dog scurries etc.
I'll probably be there with the hounds.
Mate of mine showed up some very good gun dogs a good few years ago, with a very very good staffie lol.
