Does anyone else breed them on here? I have Barred Wyandotte Bantams, Blues and my friend keeps Blue Laced with me, we are showing a few at the Spring fling, would be nice to meet others in the breed

I've got a few Wyandotte Bantams left mainly partridge and a few others, used to have lots but have moved to Scots grey and Scots dumpy Bantams. I use my Wyandottes to hatch a few chicks. I am steward for the poultry at the spring bash so please say hello.

I recently hatched some silver laced wyandottes - our first incubator & chickens!
Ended up with 6 cockerels and 1 hen :-J
We kept the hen & a cockerel....along with our fav cockerel Marilyn (manson) who is not a Wyandotte or a bantam :innocent: (eggs were off eBay)
I will be needing more girls for both cockerels, ok so far but once a bit older they will need their own ladies I think.
I find them so friendly, I stroke them each night at bed time  :dunce:

look forward to meeting you at the show bigchicken then
I have a SLW hen nicandchic, but sold the last of breeding stock last year as I wanted to focus on barred, hopefully blacks and now the blues are coming thru too so I am enjoying the change of direction :)

Lovely, I'm completely new to chickens & Wyandottes, managed to home our remaining cockerels no problem.
Not many in my area (South Ayrshire) have been in touch with a very helpful gentleman in the breed club but all the breeders were too far, looks like 'hatching eggs' are the best option for us.
Good luck showing :)
