We had a great day at the RW Spring Festival on Saturday and it was lovely to see a few of you again and as mentioned it is about time we had another 'proper' meet up.
We're more than happy to hold it here at our place, the only thing is because Dave works away during the week, ideally we'd like to do it on a weekend so that we can both be here.
Hopefully some of you will be up for it so if you could let me know when you can or can't make it we can start sorting out a date.
There will of course be cake :yum:

 Hi
I'd love to try and meet you all - best see what dates are suggested and see if I can fit in as diary is pretty hectic! Lyn (Llandovery)
-
I'm up for a meet too. I'm not too fussy with dates usually so lets see what others suggest.
-
That would be great! The only weekend we can't do is 31st May/1st June (parent's finally coming up to visit - we've only been here 11 months now!!)... Happy to bring cake (though maybe not Victoria sponge this time!! :D)

Thank you for BackinWellies for pointing out this meet up, it had passed me by.
Unfortunately my old man works on Sunday's and in my condition I'm not able to drive any distance; hopefully I can meet some of you soon.

Not sure anyone would be impressed with my cake making abilities so will bring something savoury instead if that's ok. :-\ looking forward to meeting you all.
-
Hope you all busy baking! ....
-
oo-er I forgot about this meet - I can say yes I can come now  so I should see you then.
but I would struggle to make a cake fit for human consumption so I'll cheat and bring something from the shop.
thx

Lisa, sorry but I can't make it on Sunday after all. I hope you all have a good time and look forward to the next event.

Sally that's a shame but hopefully see you at the next one.
Not been baking yet but will do in the morning, nothing like leaving it till the last minute ;)
The builders finally started work repairing our storm damaged roof and dining room this week, so we're ever so slightly more chaotic than usual ::) so please take us as you find us.
Speaking of finding us - we're on the main A485 road, there are a few Derlwyns along our stretch (a lot of sat navs take you to Derlwyn Home Farm not us) and we're the one with the eggs for sale signs either side of our driveway. We're not right in the village, we're between Alltwalis and Pontarsais.
Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Lisa and Dave, I just wanted to say thank you for hosting the meet. We had a lovely time, very much enjoyed seeing Marcus again and meeting Keith and Irene plus, of course, all your birds and animals. I'm thinking we can squeeze a few more birds in here now... Is there such a thing as too many?! ;)
-
Glad you all has a nice time. Sorry I couldn't make it.
-
A huge apology from us .... we almost made it .... and would have if I'd checked the address properly before we left (left in a hurry as had been busy putting lime on a field this morn) . We had no phone number except yours Angela ... on which you will find a missed call.
Hope you all had a lovely afternoon. Having decided we couldn't find you (didn't go far enough along 485 it seems) we went to national Gardens for cuppa. (no cake though!)
Hope we can visit soon Lisa.

We had a lovely afternoon, everyone so friendly and chatty, thank you Lisa and Dave for being such generous welcoming hosts. It was also great to meet Angela, John and Marcus but also the cat, dogs, ducks, chickens, geese, quails, pigs, sheep and those extremely cute alpacas - can we see a picture of them once they are sheared please?
-
That's a shame Linda, I was worried it was the ongoing leak issue. I had my phone on, just in case - no call and nothing missed logged... I'm going to be worrying my phone is faulty now!!
-
Now I'm worrying my phone faulty!! ...
-
Just to add my thanks, lisa & Dave, for hosing the meet  , and everyone for the cake, scones and sarnies :yum: .
;D

Thank you all for your lovely comments, it was lovely seeing you all and thank you for the cake, sandwiches and biscuits.
Apologies once again for my tardiness in replying but it has been a little hectic since Sunday, although we do now have shaven sheep and alpacas (who now look ridiculous again :D ) and as promised we will post some photos.
Linda sorry you didn't quite make it ;) but you are more than welcome anytime we'll have to sort something out.

Glad all the shearing is behind you now for another year. Hope it went well with the alpacas - I'm sure they will feel better for it.
Thanks again for Sunday.
