Title: Let down by shearer
Post by: mebnandtrn on May 12, 2014, 06:08:04 pm
We had found a local shearer who was due to come a few days ago, but sadly he misunderstood where we are and didn't want to come to us.  I know its a bit last minute but does anyone know of someone who would do 5 ewes just south of Warrington for us soon ish please? Many thanks

no help but might be worth asking around local small holders with sheep to find who they use or local big farmers and as you only have 5 you might be able to bring yours along to be done at the same time as theirs
Cheers Ed

Try Singing Shearer (Philip) on here.  He happily does small numbers.  Did our 2 on Saturday.  It will, of course, depend whether he is in your area and can fit you in to his schedule but it is worth a try.  His contact details are in his membership details.  He is also on Facebook and has his own website, all with his contact details and all under the name of Singing Shearer.  He is an absolute star  :trophy:   :sheep: :sheep:

I'd also recommend Philip for smaller numbers

He is fully booked up, so any other suggestions greatly appreciated!
