Here are my little girls. I hope I have done it right. :fc:
They seem to have appeared as links at the bottom. Both girls are doing well and still be mothered by both Cloud and Pom.
-
I don't know why but the photos are only staying up for a few seconds before they disappear.
Never mind, I've looked enough times to see Caldi and Cassi are absolute treasures. Congratulations
-
Thanks, Mammyshaz.
I don't know what went wrong. I put them on Photobucket then tried to transfer them without success so I copied and pasted the Photobucket link into the attachment box on here. Maybe someone can tell me what I should have done.
-
you copied the wrong bit from photobucket
you either need to copy and paste the IMG tag or use the web address and the photoinsert option on here...
I cant do it for you due to the way photobucket works
Worst case i could just copy your images and insert them if necessary...
PS    :goat: :goat: :goat:

-
They are gorgeous!!
-
Oh wow, they're gorgeous! Those ears
-
Thanks, All.
Yes, Cassi does have horn buds. They are booked in for disbudding next week by my lovely goat expert vet who delivered them.
Poor Cloud is suffering from a bit of infection. The vet isn't concerned as it doesn't smell and she's eating and behaving normally, but she's had another injection of antibiotic to be on the safe side. He said it is due to the fact that they were big kids and two got stuck. I suspect having his arm inside her didn't help either. The big problem is the mess. Her tail is just one lot of dried blood and she just won't let me wash it. Even with someone hanging onto her, she manages to escape. I think I'm just going to have to cut the hair off as it clearly irritates her. Anyone else had to do this?
-
No, I've just left and it goes away, but then it wasn't causing irritation.
-
It's pretty bad and the bedding keeps getting stuck to it which is what is irritating her. She's also leaving smears everywhere - on the other goats, on people and, worst of all, all over the brand new gate that a friend built last night.
-
Awwww bless
-
Ahh. Bless they beautiful. Are they a cross?
-
Mum is a Saanen x Boer, Dad is a pure Saanen.
-
Ahh that explains the colouring! Re mom's tail, I've had to clip my girls. Its easier for all of us rather than washing it..lol
-
Cloud is much better since the second dose of antibiotic but I still need to do some trimming. Just waiting for a friend to come round tomorrow to do her hooves again and he can hold her down while I give her a haircut. She will be more comfortable then.
Now, can anyone tell me how to stop myself wasting so much time watching them? They were trying to get their heads into the feed bucket today and are already showing an interest in hay. I love the way, like all young animals, they can be careering round like mad things one minute and curled up asleep the next.
