Horses have been dying due to eating sycamore seeds. Seems last year was a very good one. We have 3 of these trees which will now be coming down. There have been warnings on facebook and today we went to pick up some hay. The guy told us his neighbour lost her horse and pony due to eating the seedlings. Never knew this could happen.

but its thought to be the seeds that are toxic not the seedlings. Toxicity levels will probably vary considerably depending on the growing conditions each year
